Stone County Detention Center
Built in 1994 and holds 40 inmates, separated into 4 housing units, including one unit for female inmates. The facility holds both pre-trial inmates and post-conviction inmates awaiting transfer to the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
The Detention Facility has a full-time staff of 10 Detention Officers
Stone County Emergency Management
- Also activates the county emergency alert system (tornado sirens) and Everbridge Citizen Notification System to issue alerts for potential disasters.

2013 polaris ranger crew 800 - working on it to get it in service and just finalized it with lights radio siren medical equipment and soon will be able to carry a backboard. This will be utilized for events, wildfires, and search and rescue.
